The optimal use of semi-liquid manure is hard. To less or to much manure can have unfavorable effects on your profits. With a manure analysis you get insight in the composition of the manure. With the analysis results it is possible to determine your optimal manure treatment and maximize your profits.
Manure analysis for the law for fertilizers
As a transporter of fertilizers you’re responsible to analyse the manure by a competent laboratorium. Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen can do all your legally obligated analyses.
Accredited laboratory for manure analysis
Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is accredited for, amongst others, manure analyses according to the Accreditation program livestoch manure (Accreditatieprogramma Dierlijke Mest AP05). For manure intermediates (transporters) Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen offers a complete provision of services:
- Disposal of manure jars or seal bags with corresponding krates and forms
- Weekly pick up of manure samples by one of our drivers (only in the Netherlands)
- Analysis results are send electronically and by mail
- If a manure sample is analysed (legally obligatory) the analysis results are also electronically send to Dienst Regelingen Assen as a control file.
- On request we can also send the analysis reports to your customers
Taking a manure sample is easy
If you’re going to do the analysis for your own use (so not because it’s obligated by the government) you can simply take your own sample. Ask Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen for a package with a sample jar and a form. With the instructions, which you will get, you can take a representative manure sample. Send the filled sample jar , along with the completed form that you filled in, in the given box to Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
Insight in manure composition
Based on your own taken manure sample Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen decides the dry value and the amount of nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, magnesium and sodium. With the results of the manure analysis you can optimize your fertilization, this report does not count for the legal obligated manure bookkeeping. For the obligated manure bookkeeping you need to have a sample that has been taken by an independent sample taker.
