Derogation

Prevent an under appreciated phosphate standard

Are you considered for derogation? Than you’re allowed to use 250 kilo nitrogen a year per hectare from livestock manure. That’s considerably more than the standard norm of 170 kilo. Leading for the users norm for nitrogen is the provision of phosphate in the soil (since January first 2010). If you don’t sample, your parcel is automatically put in the highest phosphate class and the lowest phosphate users norm is applied: 170 kilo.

Accredited sample taking

To participate with derogation you first have to apply at Dienst Regelingen. After that you can contact Laboratorium Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. We’re accredited for both sample taking as for the analysis of the sample. You can be sure that the analysis corresponds to the demands of derogation in the Netherlands. Our sample takers take your sample very accurate with the help of gps. The sample analysis stays valid for four years and derogation samples can also be used for phosphate differentiation.

Knowing the condition of your soil

You want to analyse your sample to get more insight in the fertilization condition of your soil (not to participate with derogation)? Than you can take your own sample.

How can you ask for derogation?

  • Let an accredited laboratory take your sample
  • Depth of sample taking 1- or 25 cm, grassland
  • Register the result(s) at the Gecombineerde Opgave before May 15 (to be considered for extra phosphate)
  • The sample analysis stays valid up till four years
