N-mineral research analyses the available nitrogen (nitrate and ammonium) in the soil. This N-mineral analyses can be done shortly before as during the growing season. The analysis immediately shows an eventual nitrogen shortage. If an eventual nitrogen shortage is identified with the analysis you can still take corrective measures to guarantee optimal growth.
