Reliability as a core business
Research must lead to irrefutable results. Therefore, the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory consistently guarantees the highest possible level of reliability. It is the reason we are recognized by official accrediting bodies in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Even more important to us, however, is the faith our customers have in our company. That is why our commitment to quality goes beyond accreditation criteria.
The Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory has been accredited by the Dutch National Accreditation Council (RvA) for a large number of sampling procedures and analyses (click here for an overview of accredited services). Because accreditation is based on annual inspections and guaranteed day-to- day quality, the RvA's endorsement is regarded as a recognized seal of excellence.
In addition to the RvA, various other national bodies such as the Flemish Countryside Agency (VLM), the German Quality and Security Body (QS) and the Belgian Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain (FAVV) have also officially acknowledged the excellence of the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory. An overview of our official endorsements may be found on agentschapnl.nl. What´s more, our quality control system has been certified according to NEN-EN ISO/IEC 17025.
To ensure the consistent high quality of our results, the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory regularly takes part in proficiency tests. In a proficiency test, an independent agency sends specially prepared samples to participating laboratories. These laboratories perform analyses on the samples and submit their test results. By means of the test results, the agency is able to conclusively establish the quality of the analyses performed. Test results invariably rank the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory among the most reliable laboratories.
The Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory participates in proficiency tests in the area of pesticides performed by Fapas, QS, The European Committee and LVU.
