The Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory is a full-service laboratory that provides testing of soil, water, manure, sludge, forage and crops (fruit, vegetables, herbs, etc.). Since our founding in 1991, we have developed into a highly reputable international research institute. With our team of over 80 employees, we process over 250,000 samples annually.
The Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory has clients from throughout the Netherlands, Europe, and beyond. Among our clients are agricultural and horticultural businesses, auction houses, superstore chains, industrial companies and private individuals. We also service governmental organizations such as district water boards, provinces, including, for example, the Belgian Food and Safety Authority. In 2010, the Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory took over the Water Board of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen’s laboratory.
Our researchers work with the latest equipment and master a broad spectrum of techniques for analysis. We possess the expertise and technology to deliver world-class quality in a wide variety of research areas. The Zeeuws-Vlaanderen Laboratory is still deeply rooted in the soil of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Managing director and founder Jos Heijens is from a farming family himself, so he knows exactly who he’s working for. He is involved in all aspects of the company, day and night, whether communicating with his clients or rolling up the sleeves up of his lab coat. This down-to-earth approach still forms the basis of our company: just being there for our customers every day while offering satisfying service, quick results and a good price.
